It's all about balance.

It’s all about balance.

When you wake and feel out of sorts… allergies ruin your plans and keep you from being productive… PMS affects you…your back pain keeps you from playing golf…you just can’t get a good night’s sleep… Where do you turn?

Acupuncture!  When symptoms or conditions arise, your body is sending you a signal that your vital energy is out of balance. In order for your mind and body to function optimally, your energy must flow smoothly and completely throughout your body. There are a million reasons why this smooth flow can be disrupted. Finding the reason and correcting it is my job as Acupuncture Detective!

I treat so many different conditions and each patient reacts differently to treatment.  The ones I expect to react quickly often don’t and need more sessions, and others surprise me at how quickly they recover!! The best thing about Chinese Medicine is that it treats symptoms rather than a diagnosis. Based upon ancient principles, Chinese Medicine uses characteristics, or correspondences, of each energy system to guide the treatment.

For instance:

If you wake each morning at 2 a.m., you need your Liver System treated.
If your digestion is irregular, likely the Spleen System is to blame.
If your low back and/or knees are painful, we would look at your Kidney System.

All symptoms lead to a system that is either weak or overworked. Once determined and treated, the symptoms will subside and resolve and will not return with maintenance to keep you balanced.

As a Libra, I am all about balance! It is my passion in life to help people balance out their vital energy, or Qi, and reach their optimum health for a happy, healthy life!!

A Votre Sante!!
