Acupuncture

Ancient Healing

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an ancient healing art and medicine that encompasses multiple modalities of treatment. Acupuncture is usually the most well known. This comprehensive medical system is still used safely and effectively today with no side effects. Treatments strive to rebalance the body's vital energy (Qi) to allow the body to heal itself; in other words, it boosts the immune system. Any abnormal condition or malady is the body’s warning that something is out of internal balance. Once the root cause is determined, your acupuncture treatments are guided by the symptoms from your body’s internal imbalance. The process of rebalancing can take as little as a few sessions, but in many cases, it will require a greater number of treatments to return the body to homeostasis. The body will guide the treatment plan and let your Acupuncturist know when it’s time to spread out your visits.  As your health begins to improve, the maintenance phase will keep the your internal energy balanced.  Balanced energy is the best way to keep the body functioning optimally and prevent future conditions from developing.

Ask us about Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (FRA)

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (FRA) is a style of acupuncture utilizing hair-thin facial needles to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, brighten faded skin, blear blemishes and blackheads, reduce puffiness and swelling, and tighten the skin of the face and neck.

Cupping Treatment

Traditional Chinese Methods Used

Korean Traditional Acupuncture

With this tradition, I use four needles for a full constitutional analysis. Two needles are used to sedate areas on the body while the remaining two are used to tense up areas on the body. By alternating the position of the needles, energy distribution is leveled out to relax and normalize the body.

Multi-cupping

I use a high-grade electronic multi-care cupping device that massages deeply a local area of the skin. The purpose of the cupping therapy is to mobilize blood flow and promote healing of pain, deep scar tissues in muscles and connective tissue, muscle knots, and swelling.

Live Blood Cell Test

I use a ToupView microscope to investigate the general conditions of a small sample of drawn blood. I look for any high concentrations of substances that suggest toxicity, the presence of fungi, along with other imbalances. In most common cases, the remedy to problems found from this test is simply healthier diet habits.

Energy Level Test

I run small sample of drawn blood through a TCMPlus Graph analysis to measure the levels of hormonal and adrenal activity present within the blood. These measurements indicate internal energy levels and give a general indication of organ health.

Vascular Test

To measure the activities of both the systematic and parasympathetic nervous systems, I use several devices and programs. I use an Oximeter Pulse Finger reader and a high grade electricity stimulation machine to study and observe vascular conditions within the body. From these observations, I am able to diagnose levels of stress, insomnia, and headaches. With these pulse readings, I also run them through a Canopy 9 Analysis software that elaborately measures and maps heart rate variability, heart rate histogram, and heart pulse distribution.

Body Composition Analysis

The Inbody measuring device used gives a thorough body-weight analysis with regards to diabetes, hypertension, smoking habits, fat composition, lack of sleep, weight,  and metabolism.
