Do you need seasonal allergy relief? Acupuncture can help!

At the risk of repeating myself, let’s talk allergies… I know many of you are suffering horribly with runny noses, itchy eyes, raw stomachs, and sneezing like crazy. Sound familiar??
Ideally, we would have started treating your upcoming allergy symptoms about a month before you were expecting them to rear their ugly heads… This year, however, was challenging as spring started so early, then we had some winter, summer, winter, and now we have finally settled back into spring. Predicting the usual symptoms was nearly impossible this year…
So now you have full on symptoms and are miserable…yes? Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture can really help with your condition. Regular tr
eatments and herbal formulas especially will do the trick. If you don’t like the idea of Acupuncture, you are more than welcome to come in for an herbal consult and take the magical herbal formulas to soothe your suffering. Chinese Medicine is good for ANYTHING that ails you… But I want to inform you of some things you can do for yourself outside the TCM arena to lessen your symptoms and help you enjoy this beautiful weather!!
1. Drink plenty of water to loosen secretions. 2. Shower at night—allergens rest on your skin and in your hair. When you put your head on your pillow, they transfer to your pillow so you breathe them in all night long. 3. Rinse your sinuses via Netti Pot or in the shower to remove as many allergens as possible. 4. Reduce the amount of dairy, wheat and sugar you ingest during this time. Each of these promotes mucus in your body, further aggravating your symptoms. These simple changes can make a huge difference in your symptoms until your particular allergen calms down and you can resume a more normal existence! A Votre Sante!!
